How do I delete the user-specific data of TeamDrive?

For each user TeamDrive creates a new directory in the home directory of the respective user. In this directory TeamDrive stores data that belongs to that user.

The deinstallation of TeamDrive offers to delete this directory with the user-specific data.

The directories with the user-specific data of other users remain on the computer after deinstallation and must be deleted manually.

The directory with the user-specific data of TeamDrive is located here in an English Windows installation:

Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\TeamDrive

Windows Vista:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\TeamDrive

For a user "joe" it would be located here:

Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\joe\Application Data\TeamDrive

Windows Vista:

C:\Users\joe\AppData\Roaming\TeamDrive

Unfortunately Microsoft has decided to hide the "Application Data" and "AppData" folders so that they won't show up in Windows Explorer by default.

To Show Hidden Program or System Files in Windows XP follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
  2. Click the View tab.
  3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.

To Show hidden files in Windows Vista follow these steps:

  1. Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
  2. Click the View tab.
  3. Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
